Bermuda Boat Parade
Each year in December, boat owners and businesses are called upon to dress up their boats in Christmas lights and they parade around the Hamilton Harbour. This is followed by fireworks. This year is Bermuda's 400th, and as such there was a lot of expectations for this the final event of the year. Personally it didn't seem like there was any extra effort put in, but I realize that decorating the boats like this is a lot of work in any case, and this one did a particularly good job. I will also say that shooting a moving set of Christmas lights in the complete darkness is not the easiest thing to do. I didn't have the luxury of choosing the time of day, and out of 200 shots, only a few really turned out very well.
