Christmasy cufflinks

This was a bit of a stretch perhaps. I knew that I wanted to photograph something like this with the coloured lights in the background, but needed a subject. And as I was rummaging around on my dresser for something I found my cufflinks which my great friend Chris gave me for his wedding, since I was a groomsman. All this to play with some depth of field, which in this photo is quite shallow. Like a few millimeters shallow.
